Not too many new plans, but we've been getting the house ready for us to leave.. Funny, we're renovating to make other people more comfortable than we have been in our house! Oh well, it will be worth it.
Our bathroom in the basement is no more. We have a plumber coming in to advise us on the next step to fit the new shower and toilet and vanity in there. Also had an electrician come in to move the ground off the pipes so we could work without getting electrocuted. Then we figured 'while you're here...' and he installed new lights and an electrical outlet on the deck and did some other little jobs that needed to be done. We'll call him back to update the panel when the bathroom is ready to wire.
Clarissa and Maiya arrived about a week ago and they are settling into their very small (temporary) bedroom. Maiya is so cute, she makes up for the pain that is 5 people in a house with one bathroom. As soon as the bathroom is done, we'll work on getting them into the bigger room in the basement, which used to be Clarissa's room when she lived here a few years ago.
So we're a little squished for now, no time to worry about other stuff like planning a trip. It will all come, I'm sure!
